Seborrheic Keratosis
Seborrheic Keratosis
Seborrheic keratoses are common harmless growth on the skin caused by an excess build-up of the ordinary skin cells. They are frequently found on the face, chest, back and shoulders and typically appear in middle age and become more common with advancing age. Unlike some skin growths that can be precancerous, seborrheic keratoses themselves are not cancerous.
If you notice a seborrheic keratosis or any unusual growth on your skin, it’s important to consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and evaluation.
We can safely and effectively remove any seborrheic keratosis if you wish to do so for cosmetic reasons or if the growth causes discomfort.
